Loves ‘25

Around 1974 Malcolm McLaren, later manager of the Sex Pistols, produced a T-shirt with a couple of colleagues (including Bernie Rhodes, manager of The Clash to be) for sale in the shop he shared with Vivienne Westwood at 430 Kings Road, Chelsea. The t-shirt was divided into two lists, one of which named their most ‘hated’ objects and the other their most ‘loved’. We always liked the loved list, especially as it featured references to reggae which was largely ignored by the mainstream media at the time. In homage, we’ve produced our own list of ‘loves’ (but not ‘hates’) below.
